Vertical shower drain heat recovery solution
Suitable for a two-storey house, our Zypho PiPe models offer a vertical shower drain heat recovery solution adaptable to shower trays, linear drains or baths.
The vertical pipe has a flow drainage of up to 25 L/min and can deliver energy savings of up to 82%. Heat transfers from the shower’s hot waste water to the incoming cold mains supply. This heated water can be directed either to the shower tap, the water heater or both.
In this example, 40°C hot water transfers up to 80% of its heat to the incoming 10°C cold water from the mains.
